Broccoli Salad

When we think of summer salads, this broccoli salad is at the top of our list. Fresh, tangy, and just a little bit addicting thanks to the bacon, this is my go-to salad for a summer potluck.

Broccoli Salad (12 servings)


  • 8 cups broccoli, chopped into small florets and pieces

  • 1/2 cup red onion, diced

  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries or raisins

  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds

  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and broken into bits

  • 3/4 cup Miracle Whip

  • 3 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar

  • 1 Tablespoon sugar (2 Tablespoons if using mayonnaise instead of Miracle Whip)

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper


  1. Mix the chopped broccoli, diced onion, bacon bits, cranberries, and sunflower seeds in a large bowl.

  2. In a separate, small bowl, add the Miracle Whip, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper and whisk until smooth and creamy.

  3. Pour dressing over the broccoli mix and toss until evenly coated.

  4. You can serve immediately or refrigerate for several hours before serving. Enjoy!
